Alice Williamson

Graduating with a Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2010 the majority of Alice's experience has been in sports, treating soft tissue dysfunction in athletes. She has worked with many sporting teams including the Perth Wildcats, teams of the Rugby Super 15 Series, 20/20 Cricket Big Bash, A-League, NRL and a variety of others at state and national level.

Experiencing a diverse range of sports has led her to take an interest in sports and specialising in massage for golfers. This is balanced by her work delivering massage in more clinical settings, her most recent role in a multidisciplinary joint and injury rehabilitation clinic at Hollywood Hospital. There she gained expertise in treating joint related pain, post-operative soft tissue issues and lymphatic dysfunction.

In addition to her hands on care, she brings a passion for education to her treatments, helping clients to increase their awareness and giving them strategies to optimise their own physical function. Alice is a strong believer in self management and teaches her patients “the most powerful thing I can do is to teach you what to do, and why you are doing it so you develop the skills to self-manage in the future”.
